Olga Olikova is the founder of Koruna Krasy, hair cosmetics created specifically for long hair.
She has worked as a professional braider since 2018 and spends her days with clients whose hair is long enough to braid.
Over the years she noticed one recurring pattern: many women grew longer, healthier hair precisely because they braided it regularly.
The reason is simple:
when hair is braided it is protected from mechanical damage, it does not rub against clothing, it is not combed constantly, and it gets the peace it needs to grow.
The biggest problem with long hair does not start at the roots.
Up there the hair is still healthy, shiny and nourished.
The trouble begins from the shoulders down, where the natural nourishment from the scalp no longer reaches.
Hair loses hydration, gets thinner, splits and tangles.
And because we have to comb it out, it simply breaks off, so the length never grows.
The way your hair looks is not genetics.
It is the result of how you care for it.
So the answer is not to trim the ends.
If hair lacks hydration and nourishment, the problem comes back within a few months.

Prototypes of our products have existed since 2023 and are tested in real life, not in a laboratory.
Olga uses them while braiding, directly on her own clients:
the detangling spray and the pre-braiding cream keep hair hydrated for weeks at a time.
